Default Low/High Beam selector not working

2020 / 2500 / 4x4 / 20k miles

So recently I have been unable to push the turn indicator forward and get the high beams to turn on and stay on. They do not even flash to high beam mode. When I pull and hold back on the indicator the high beams do turn on. However, obviously they don't stay on when I release the lever. So the high beams do function. Haven't been able to find a solution through Google so I cane here looking for help.

Welcome to Chevy!
2020 should still be under warranty. Contact your dealer to fix it.

appreciate it but a dealer trip would take hours out of my day and usually things like this can be fixed in a matter of minutes if someone has had to troubleshoot this problem already. If its something mechanical thats not repairable then i would take it in. But im hoping its a fuse/relay/dirty contact/loose wire etc.... i can do myself

I agree with Rednucleus on letting the dealer handle it. That way they can also install any factory firmware updates to the various system modules in your truck while it is in their service facility.

I also agree with both of ya'll. But like I said earlier I came to this forum to find a solution for the problen that i can do myself if it is an issue someone else has had to deal with. Also to hopefully share with other people when i hear them bring it up. I enjoy learning and prefer fixing the problems myself.
