Default New 2021 HD2500 Duramax

I am seriously looking at the new 2021 HD2500 Duramax Diesel and Allison Transmission combo for myself. It would be a crew cab with the standard. Any thoughts or feedback from anyone here would be appreciated. I used to own a 2003 HD2500 Duramax/Allison extended cab long bed and loved it. I recently found out or was told that the Duramax engine is no longer made by Isuzu for GM. Is that true and if so who does it now, GM? If so, how is the reliability and power? Thanks in advance. I was looking at this one or another that is the same only is white.

Don't know the answer for the dmax, but I understand that the new 10 speed transmission is not built by Allison but GM, the 2019 was the last year for the Allison built.
