Oil receipts

Oil receipts
I have a 2019 Silverado LT that uses 0W20 oil and filter. My truck is at the dealer cause the defective lifters cause it to break down. I paid $4,804.00 to have it fixed and after I paid and picked it up, it had low oil pressure and now they say it needs a new cam. The issue is I never saved the receipts for my oil and filters when I changed my oil . Now I need to find if anyone out there saved theirs and can send me copies for 2021, 2022 and 2023! They can’t have names but need to show 0W20 oil and filter. If I give them some proof GM will help with the repair costs!

If you bought at a parts store they may have a record if you used a credit card or are a store member. Your credit card company may have records or check prior statements.
Good reminder to all of us to save receipts especially if under warranty

Reminds me of a story about a friend whose car engine blew about 5k past the mfr. warranty. Luckily they purchased extended warranty (so they thought). When they filed a claim the insurer wanted receipts from oil changes (who saves them?). A friend of mine owned several repair shops and was able to supply them. Then they wanted proof of coolant flush. After supplying them they finally did pay for engine replacement. I keep receipts and record of everything that is done to my vehicles in glove compartment.
