Default Stereo glitch

Just purchased a 2019 Silverado HD 6.0, Custom Sport Summit White HD edition with Z71 Off Road package with black bow ties, looks awesome! Ford trucks be jealous. Love the truck but ran into a stereo with a mind of its own. After the wife and I got in the truck after shopping, I started the truck and the radio was blasting on full volume. I tried turning it down and it insisted on being on full blast, I couldn't keep up with the stereo wanting to be up all the way and me trying to turn down. I tried turning the stereo off and it wanted to stay on. It was like it was possessed. I finally was abled to turn off the radio. I tried turning it on again but it started all over again with wanting to be on full volume. I was able to turn off the radio again and didn't risk turning it on again until I could take it in to the dealer. The dealer looked at it and reset the radio. They had no idea what it was and if it could happen again.
I do have navigation as well.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I took it in and they reset it. Hopefully it doesn’t happen again.

Default Stereo glitch

I took it back to dealer and they reset it. Hopefully it doesn’t happen again.
I’m surprised no one else had a problem except us.
good luck
