Forum Members, I would like to do a quick thank you to the forum administrators and the Duraflap Mud Flap sponsor.
I was the recent winner of the recent 'Dirty Truck' photo competition that was sponsored by Duraflap.
Working with Duraflap team was a breeze and both Raeme and Myron provided excellent service. and Duraflap went beyond expectation and provided me a very nice set of mudflaps with the American flap as part of a custom set!
The new mudflaps arrived via UPS yesterday and I just finished installing them this morning.
Comments on my installation experience:
If you read the included directions, you should have these installed in 30 minutes to an hour with basic knowledge and skills. Probably less, but I over estimate.
If you have aftermarket wheel well liners installed, add a little more time to manipulate their installation with the new mud flap installation.
If you're an old man who misplaces his tools, needs lot's of breaks to let human parts that no longer work as they used to, and drops things and can't find them..... add a little more time!
All in all, I would highly recommend these mudflaps. Yes, they are mudflaps, they will get dirty, get bumped if going too far afield/offroad/etc., but they are easy to install, heavy duty, and should last a long, long time.
