Has anyone encountered an intermittent thumbwheel when attempting to scroll the info page, etc.. Pressing it to acknowledge or dismiss a function works but will not scroll the selections. It happens about half the time I use the truck. I’ve only had the truck 2 months and also wondered if using/having on a function will disable the thumbwheel? 2019 Silverado LTZ 4X4

Might be like the speed set wheel on my Malibu. Got a bit sticky but WD-40 silicone spray fixed that pronto. Probably just some dust.

 

mine will do that if not go to the settings menu but most of the time nothing, will not move.

 

I just got a 2020 Silverado, with the thumbwheel. It is not very consistent. Sometimes it overshoots the screen I wanted, and sometimes it is sluggish. I think it is a bad design, way too sensitive. I know if I took it in and complained, that the dealer, then Chevrolet, would give the standard answer "It is within its design specification."

Not a fan.
