I have an 89 chevy astro with the 4.3l and it will start cold but once warm it will die. I have replaced distributor,Ignition coil, ignition module,Ignition switch, fuel filter,the catalitic is good. so what else could there be to fix this

 

Have ran code scanner but no codes on this. have replaced fuel pump, oil pressure switch, fuel filter, distributor, ignition coil , fuel pump relay, ignition module the engine doesnt get hot just after the motor warms to normal temp it wont start. have tried just about everything I know and no fix yet.

 

plus I replaced the ignition switch

 

it will run if it sets for a while but then after a few minutes of run time it just dies and wont start back up catalitic is clear and not getting hot so what else

 

How often will the fuel pump cycle if i turn the key off and then turn it back on it will only cycle once every few minutes it wont cycle every time u turn key off and on is this right or do you think there is a short

 

it will die when driving or when idling either now it is starting to die after it runs for about 3-5 minutes but I have replaced fuel pump and filter and relay and oil pressure switch I will check fuel spray and see what it looks like and fuel pressure

 

well it sprays good and so i check some more stuff and changed plugs the fuel pump wont charge every time you turn key on but I had a guy who came by he said he will buy it for $500 so I sold it to him. Thank You Gary for all your help
