Ever since I got my 89 Astro, the odometer has never worked. It shows 192xxx but the last registration shows 196xxx. Obviously the last owner rolled it back and broke it in the process of the fraud. What are the components of the odometer and what is a common method someone would use to freeze the odometer like that?
