Default Finding Chevy Astro parts.

I am aware that they stopped production of the Astro in 2005. What about parts availability for the future? I know junkyards are good for finding parts on older models but what about an Astro from 2000-2005 model years?

Like most GM product, parts availability is expected to be good for Astros for quite some time. As someone that frequents junkyards, I see the whole range. From '80s vans that someone deemed too old to fix again to the 2005 that got sideswiped and totaled with a perfectly running drivetrain.

Here are some sites that you might find useful.
www.rockauto.com - New parts cheap
www.car-part.com - Nationwide junkyard parts search engine
www.copart.com - Nationwide auto salvage auction

Thanks for the info and links, I was just wondering. Although by having a 3rd Astro Van just for parts is a great idea only if you have the space for it in your driveway or garage.
