Got Astro Heads Off
Well I got my dads Astro stripped down to the heads off. man what a bunch of wires and connectors, I marked each wire and connector with a number on a piece of masking tape and marked on the engine where they plugged in at the same way with the same number.
Got #4 and #6 full of water, #6 was on the down stroke and it is filled to the top. Couldnt find much of a sign of a blown gasket or any cracks in the heads or block, but going to buy a gasket set and put it all back together this weekend.
Got my fingers and toes crossed.[sm=smiley20.gif]
Sure was a tight job with the engine still bolted in. The intake came off without having to remove the throttle body.

You definately had a failed gasket. Theres a reason it was hydro-locked.
Anyway, I'm glad Shawn and I could diagnose it for you! If you need any more help on the matter, just ask!
