Misfire? Erratic shift?
2001 Chevy Astro AWD 4.3
While I'm driving with moderate pedal pressure, between 50-65 mph, the vehicle bucks every few minutes. At first it felt as if a tire slipped on ice, then caught. After it happened a few more times it almost seems as if it is a major misfire of several cylinders, as if the entire system shut off, then on. I guess it could also be OD or a locker torque convertor down-shifting, then up-shifting or the convertor unlocking, then locking again. The entire thing occurs over about a second or two. Bang, bang.
