Hi all, first post. I have a 97 astro with the two rear doors with the flip up rear window, question, how do you remove the pins holding the doors on. I got two rear doors from the junk yard and they just cut off the hinge. I have 8 to remove, the 4 on the yard doors and then have to remove the 4 that are already on the van. Is it just brut force or is there a trick. thanks

 

There is a special tool used to press the pins out. The cost per use isn't worth it for most people to buy. I suggest heading to a body shop and having them do it.
