Steering issue
Ok here's the deal, When I turn the wheel full to the left or right to come out of my narrow driveway...I get this feel like the wheels are skipping...my friend who has a 00 Astro said it's something about the steering...can't remember eactly but it did it on his. Any ideas on what this might be??
It was doing that before I changed the bearings...but the loud HUM i was hearing went away after....my boy with the 2000 Astro is still looking for the receipt on what he did when his was doing the same thing!

For me it was the Driver side IDLE Arm....With someone with you Raise the cars front end...A full lift is safer, Grab the wheel 6&12 and push and pull...mine was solid then I grabbed 9&3....pushed and pulled wheel was loose while that's being done had someone look at the linkage components. My idle arm was pushing up out of it's BUSHING...WHERE THE TOP NUT AND BUSHING IS LOCATED...don't know what year your car is but the Idle arm I got from Autozone was different but it was more like an Upgrade so when you order yours depending on the year it might change..Hope this helps...BTW changed it out yesterday...you'll need a hammer and what looks like a TUNING fork to wedge inbetween the top nut to remove....(Sorry forgot the name of the tool)
Good Luck!
