Will a Transmission from a 1998 or 2000 fit a 1999 Chevy Astro 4.3L??
Hey guys I wanna replace my Transmission on a 1999 Chevrolet Astro 4.3L.
I wanna know if its possible if it will fit if I swap in a 1998 or 2000 Astro or Safari Transmission in my 1999 Chevy Astro??

all things have to match.
if it an AWD Astro, then your donor has to be AWD also.
If you take the rear end then it should be perfect, since all the vans had the same length, all you should need to know is AWD or Not.
In any event be on the safe side and take the TCM or BCM from the donor car.
