02 avalanche from diff bearing work
So I have at least one bad growling bearing in the front differential of my daughters 2002 avalanche z71. I have been looking for a rebuild kit that will replace gaskets and bearings. It seems each time I ask about one they want to know if I need the kit for the diff that has the shoulder on the front pinion bearing or without the shoulder. How do I know which I have without dissassembly? I am looking at doing this with a short down time and need the right kit before I start the work. Thanks
