I have an 07 Chevy AV Ltz back in December I had a tranny leak fixed leak and added a quart of fluid I put dex 3 in it and a few miles later tranny made noise started slipping I loaded it on a trailer and hauled it home now when it gets hot trans makes noises and acts strange is this because I put wrong (dex 3 ) fluid instead of dex 4 ( which is fully synthetic) and if so if I change fluid and filter will this fix it

 

are you sure its full? if all you did was top it off then I doubt being a different fluid would do anything but I would recommend changing it out. Sounds like your pan may be coming off in the near future anyway, if the transmission is making noise and full of fluid its pretty much time for teardown unless you have codes to go off of or a scantool that can watch live data
