'07 Avalanche
Any input would be helpful. I have an '07 Avalanche that seems to going down hill quickly. It currently is suffering from the following:
1 - Drivers side window stopped working - How can I can tell what caused this or do I have to buy a new motor and just hope for the best.
2 - The speakers in the doors sometimes work and sometimes do not. What would cause this. The pillar speakers always work.
3 - The Oil Pressure Gauge is going crazy, which result in getting a low oil pressure message constantly. I was told it is the Oil Pressure switch on the engine (the part cost me less than $10). Now I find out it is located on the fire wall side of engine with no way to get to it with out tearing apart the motor at of cost of $500.....I am having the same issue with my '07 Suburban as well, and I just don't have a $1000 to replace (2) part sthat cost less than $10.....HELP....

buy a window switch that should solve your problem with that issue.
your oil pressure issue is due to the oil screen being gummed up its located in your oil sending unit easy fix
get new speakers that will fix your speaker issue.

Remove your door panel. It could be a bad motor or mechanism. It could also be the door switch, which I would check first since that is easiest.
The door speakers do go bad since they use cheap speakers with paper cones. Usually they vibrate a lot before completely quitting.
Check this video from Youtube on changing the oil pressure sending unit.
