I have an 07 Avalanche Z71 LT that I cannot find a pinion bearing seal for. Everything for an 07 the id is to large. The OD is 2.762 in. which is normal but the pinion shaft ID is 1.940 in. which everything I find is larger and does not seal??? I even searched the GM parts site and there is nothing with those dimensions. Any help will be appreciated. I've also looked at 06 and 08 models to see but no luck.

 

phone any gm dealership parts department, provide your vin and ask for a pinion seal. no idea if you need front or rear diff pinion seals as you didn't specify. the oem seal is better than any aftermarket part.
