2008 avalanche smoking and burning oil
my 08 avalanche had the afm lifters replaced and now it is smoking on some start-ups and occasionally while driving. Also it is burning 1 quart of oil every 300 miles or so. any suggestions?

What I have trouble understanding is that before the lifters were replaced this was not an issue. Could something have happened while replacing the lifters? This issue started as soon as they were replaced.
