Default 2010 Avalanche A/C Compressor belt

I am trying to diagnose a Screeching sound coming from the front of my engine, but I can't get the lower belt off to eliminate the compressor. Anyone understand what I am saying ...2010 5.3 engine.
I have looked at a few youtube video and they state I might have a tension unit down there but there isn't one, so I can't understand for the life of me to get that lower belt off.. Frustrating as hell

They are stretch fit belts. No tensioner. They are designed to be cut off for removal then you run a zip tie through one of the holes and around the belt. You then rotate the engine at the crankshaft until the belt is fully in place. Remove the zip tie.

If you want to save the belt, you should be able to remove it by pulling it forward while rotating the engine.

Here are the installation procedures.

oh well I cut that belt and I still hear that squeaking noise, not really sure what this is...I know I used to spay my engine to clean it I am wondering if its rust on something and its squeaking...I took the serpentine belt off also and the sound is still there with no belts..crazy how I can't still seem to understand what that is.

Anyone experience this issue.

get a mechanics stethoscope. this will help you isolate the noise to its source.

You'll need to prove various locations on the engine with a mechanic's stethoscope until you find the source.
