I go to use the dome light using the dash brightness slide and when I turn off the dome light the dash lights don't come back. Played with the switch a bit but nothing.

Everything else is fine. I disabled the daytime running lights this morning using the dome light buttom (4 presses) to make sure that wasn't the problem and the radio display came back but when I turn on the lights manually they go out again.

My thought is the switch went bad or is there something else to look for? I've checked a couple fuses that seemed logical but all were good.

Pulled out the headlight/domelight switch from the dash and nothing obviously wrong with it.

Anyone have a problem like this before?

Ended up being the headlight / dashlights switch.

$65 at Autozone for a new one.

All good now.
