So far this truck has been a nightmare. Currently at the shop getting a new transmission, already had the top end rebuilt, and now this. It's a 2012 Avalanche

The Issue:

One day I get gas, go back in the truck and the driver's side controls are gone. Put the vehicle in drive, all doors lock except for for drivers side. Cannot control the windows or locks but I can still control the drivers side mirror, but not the right.
The key fob works but does not unlock or lock the drivers side. If I use the key to open the door, the interior lights do not go on when the door is opened. Its like the door has been disconnected completely. All controls on every other door works fine.
Checked all the fuses, they're fine. Disconnected the batter completely overnight, nothing. Disconnected the battery again and connected the leads, still nothing. Any idea what is causes this before I spend even more money fixing this thing.

Probably a bad ground to the drivers door.
