My 2010 has locked itself several times a few seconds after my exiting the truck. It has happened with the key out, key in, all doors closed and once with the passenger front open. It happened once with my keys and cellphone in the truck. Fortunately, there was a pay phone available to call On Star, but if this happens at the wrong place and time I could be stranded. I took it to the dealer, they checked connections and ran updates on the computer, but it has now happened again twice this weekend......any ideas?????

 

I rented a 2010 Tahoe not too long ago and it did the same thing.

I thought it was sensing that I was walking away with the keys.

Luckily, I never had the keys in it when it did it.
