Default How to get around abs/traction lights after dis connecting air ride

Hello. I am new to this forum. I have just bought a 2008 Avalanche LTZ in excellent condition. I new the air ride wasn't working when I bought it, however, there were no messages or lights on in the dash. I removed the original rear air shocks, and replaced them with standard air shocks with their own lines and nipple. Obviously the abs and traction lights came on. My question is, can the system be bypassed to put the lights out, and have cruise control and auto start back. Thanks, Andrew.

Yes, the system can be bypassed.
You need to find an Electronic Bypass Module. Arnott makes one.
I just converted my 2011 LTZ a couple months ago using the Monroe kit from Rock Auto, it came with resistors you installed at the end of the wires that plug into the shocks.
Everything has been working great, no lights on the dash or issues. No more rocking boat ride!!!
Thanks!!!
