Default I want the smooth bed peice


The peice in the red circle.
Alright does anyone agree with me that this thing is ugly? Alright now does anyone know where I can get the aftermarket peice that is smooth the the Escalade EXTs? Please I need help.

Great question. Have you looked into getting the parts from Cadillac? (Probably big $$$$).

I saw an avalanche that had one that was painted over the rought texture and it looked like a$$. Hopefully someboby here knows where to purchase and aftermarket one.

Yea my dad thaught it would be a good idea to paint over it but I said no. Does anyone even know the name of the peice so i can look it up?

If you go down to your GM parts guy, he/she can show you a an expanded picture of the area and find the part name / number that way. I really hope you find a solution for this as it was one of the main reason I went with a Tahoe over the Ava.

These parts look OK on a black truck, but on any other color I agree they look odd. It all fit if you had a cladded Avy and everything sort of tied together, but without the cladding it looks out of place. The only two options I can think of are 1) do a lot of sanding or, 2)buy the same pieces from your friendly local Cadillac dealer (the Escalade EXT has smooth parts that come painted body color from the factory).

hey guys, I have a guy here in the Phoenix area. That has done a bunch of these for around 1500.00. He is in the process of doing my 07 right now. Let me know if you want his number to get a qoute.
