my wife bought her sisters 05 avalanch a few days ago and payed 500 for it. when she brought it hme; i was looking it over and it was well worth the 500. looked in the back and there was a transfer case laying there. did some research and it is the right case for that truck. wondered how it was drivable and it must have had a different trans put in it. or is there a longer and different drive shaft made to bypass a transfer case?? never heard of that, but oh well, wish i could make it 4wd again. any thoughts??? thank you d grif
