Default Rear main seal leak on 2011 avalanche

Would like to hear from anyone who would know if a rear main seal leak is common for 180,000 miles on the 2011 avalanche and what did you do?

Well, Scotty Kilmer, swears by a seal sweller called AT-205. Sure you could have a seal leak at 180 k.

Thanks Henry, I took it to shop to make sure it was a rear main seal and the mechanic put some additive in the oil to stop the leak, he also said the shop that changed the oil may have put the 5-20 oil in my truck, I hope to run the additive a thousand miles to let it do its job then change the oil. Quick question? Would it be ok to put the a can of what you recommend in with the next oil change to be on the safe side or no?
