For some reason, my remote will no longer lock/unlock my doors in my 2007 Avalanche. Had the battery tested and was okay. Have tried the relearn remote feature which works as soon as the operation is complete but within an hour I've lost the ability to lock or unlock the truck again. Are there any other proven methods to program the remote without taking the vehicle to a dealer?

 

I only know of using the scan tool to program transmitters. Do you have two transmitters? Did they fail at the same time?

 

I now have 3 transmitters. I decided to buy one and program it through the truck.. it did the same as the others. Worked for a short period and then back to manually locking and unlocking the vehicle.

 

I have the same problem, also with a 2007 Avalanche. Did you ever find a solution? Thanks! John
