Default Setting tpms

Hi
I have a 2011 Avalanche and I need to set the Tire pressure system. The only way to activate learning mode is to switch on ignition and the press lock/unlock buttons. Then the system activates learning mode and front legat and rear left turn signals lit up. I scan the left front tire and the the horn beeps and right front and right rear signals lit up, then I scan right front tire and the horn beeps. After this no turn signals lit up and I cant scan the rear tire. What can cause this problem?

either the instructions you got are wrong (thus the test mode ends before you get to the last tire) OR - that sensor is bad

TPS sensors do go bad frequently. I think you cannot replace them with a normal stem since the hole is machined different. You can take the bulb out of the TPS warning so it's not annoyingly flashing all the time, though.

the batteries in the sensors do have a lifetime....and eleven years is probably past it. any sensor that will not register needs replacement.

Do not remove the bulb from your cluster...in the states its a federally mandated system. My thinking is It will need to do a bulb check to pass safety inspection.

Thanks a lot for your anser. Problem solved since one sensor was brooken. Now the broken sensor is replaced and everything is working fine.
