Hi everyone,
I recently bought an 07 Avalanche as a parts vehicle and noticed on the passenger side the word AVALANCHE is spelled incorrectly...AVLANCHE. Its clearly OEM, factory produced. Can anyone tell me if they have ever seen or even heard of this mistake?

 

I doubt its factory. the lettering come on a reverse strip that is then applied to the vehicle; a missing letter would leave a space that would be obvious. imo, Its more likely someone removed a letter and closed the gap or bought a new strip and doctored it.
