Default Tap Seat Anchor Thread

2006 Avalanche 4x4. Messed up the thread to receive the rear anchor bolt of the front seat. Haven't done a tap before and wondering how I would figure out the right tap to use. The bolts did not have any legible information on the head. Also if you have a video that has helped you before in tapping I would appreciate the advice.

Thanks

i would use a bolt/thread size gauge to measure the bolt.

as you are just rethreading not tapping...you can pretty much just get is started straight and run it through. if it gets hard at any time...back it off.
