Things to do after an oil change?
Ok this is pretty stupid, but i'm thinking after my oil change, should i grase my chassis? If so what grease should I use? In addition, is there anything else that should be done at each oil change?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Well, I usually grease all the fittings (except for the brake bleeder.. don't make the mistake. lol) while the oil is draining. I also check the differential fluid. If the vehicle is 4wd, check the front differential fluid level. To check differential fluid, get a 1/2" drive rachet and use it to unscrew the upper drain plug of the differential. stick your finger in there and if you can feel the fluid, its not low. Same goes for the transfer case.

What grease does it take and where are they located? I have a bunch of castrol multipurpose grease already. Is that good or should I get something more specific? As for the diff's do i have to use any locktite on it after taking it off or not?

Just grease. What you have will work fine.Joints and stuff aren't picky about what you lube them with.Your truck may not have grease fittings.A lot of vehicles nowwill have sealedjoints and self-lubricating joints.Look on the steering joints andon top and bottom of the spindles. As for the differentials, just get them tight. The torque specs for the plugs are ~50lbs/ft.
