I'm contemplating throwing a throttle body spacer on my 04 Avalanche 5.3l. As of now I have a K&N CAI on it. Looking at the engine, if I add the spacer the hose on the CAI will will clash with the fan shroud and fan. Will trimming approx. an inch off of each wing of the fan hurt anything?
