Default drivers side door squeaks horribly.

the drivers side door on my lumina (93) squeaks really bad and makes noises like there is no tomorrow when u open it. What can i do to make that go away besides spraying wd-40 on it which i tried with minimal success...?

you will likly have to replac the door pins. just grab the frame of the door, if it moves up and down you will have to replace the pins.

Is that true on a truck as well? driver side also has a whiny squeak.

Looking at it, it is where the piece "bracket" attached in on the door "rolls" over the pin, that makes it squeak. I greesed it and it quieted a bit, but not completley gone.

Yeah thats what mine is doing too, i noticed the pin that holds the 2 pieces together jumps and makes a poping sound. Its the part that tells the door to stay open once u open it so far right? any idea how to fix such a thing?
