Default lumina spedometer

I have a 91 Lumina 3.1. The speedometer has stopped working. it bobbed around for a while, and now it just sits on 0. Could this be the speed sensor? any help would be appreciated. thanks!

Default speedo probs

F.Y.I It was the speed sensor. bugger to get to, but that fixed it!
