Default Water in trunk of '92 Lumina Sedan

When it rains I find water in the spare tire well in the trunk. That requires emptying enough stuff to remove the spare tire so I can mop up the water and dry out the well. There seems to be no break in therubber sealor metal around the trunk opening. Sure hope someonehas ananswer. Thanks.

Theseal around the taillight might be dried up or broken. The water hitting the trunk lid runs into the channel then down toward the back. It then runs over the tailight. If your seal is bad it will get into trunk.

I had the same problem with a previous car. Gasket was fine, but still leaked. I ended up having to readjust the trunk lid to make a 100% seal.
