1999 blazer.. started right up drove 3000 ft and engine lost power..
so it had been sitting and got a moisture issue inside the blazer.. started right up and drove fine... then 3000 ft engine loses all power and power steering wasnt working either...?? tryed turning over and wouldnt turn back over... wouldnt even sputter or anything..
You need to determine if it is fuel or electrical problem. Try spraying some gas into the throttle body and see if it runs for a few seconds, if it does you have a fuel problem and probably need a fuel pump. If it doesn't run at all, you probably have an ignition problem.

I had the same problem a few years back with my 98. Just quit on me while out driving and would not fire again. Starter just rolled but no fire. It was the ignition coil that took a dump. I agree that could be either fuel or spark and needs to be trouble shot. But this was my experience with a similar problem
