Hello. Thanks for letting me join. I have a problem with my 2005 Jimmy not Blazer. My bad.
It appears stock but it has rear drum brakes, not discs.
I need to replace the drums and pads but don't know how to identify the parts.
VIN is 1GKCT18X85K109768
I checked the VIN and it indicates discs all round and yet there are drums on the rear.
It special ordered to tow a horse trailer and is fitted with factory air bags.
I'm wondering if the put a bigger rear end in it.
I also checked with the dealer and he said it should be all disc as well.
Can anyone help with this?

drums you are seeing may be the emergency brake part of the system with discs underneath/behind
