Paint Missing (but not Primer) from new Blazer
Hi,
I bought a new 2022 Blazer in October. On the seam (where panels meet) of the rear quarter panels of my car there is visible missing paint. I was at the dealership today to get an infotainment system replaced (completely failed...) and brought up the paint issue. They said yes the paint was in fact missing but it was not a warranted issue as it was a "manufacturing defect" and I would have to drive the car hours away to take it to the original dealer to see if they wanted to cover the fix.
This seems like a load of horse crap to me, but wanted to ask the experts here.
Also, options? I don't want my new car rusting in a year or two and we are moving into salt season in NY.
