I have a 1997 3.8L 5spd Camaro. The other day I was accelerating onto the freeway... 2nd gear was ok, but while in 3rd gear ready
to shift at about 4500rpm there was a sudden decrease in power, I then shifted in 4th when i got to around 4000 rmp, again, i noticed a serious decrease in power. On the way home i was able to maintain power/speed, and did not notice any problems. Its just whenever i gave her gas a serious lack of power is noticeable. The engine is running smooth , idlng fine, revs fine....any ideas?
