2019 Camero2 SS Gear Won't Engage
Hi All,
My wife recently brought a used 2019 Camero2 SS Convertible. About a week ago she calls me because she was stuck at the store parking lot and the car wouldn't move. I naturally assumed she was doing something wrong. But when i got there and started the car i saw the same thing. Check engine, traction control, low fuel warnings all show on the dash. If you put the car in Drive or Reverse it never engages. Pressing the gas produces a very low increase in idle and sound. I turned off the car and screwed around with the owner's manual and looked under the hood. Nothing weird. After 10 mins I started it up again and all the warnings except the Check Engine were gone. I drove the car home and by the next day, the check engine warning was gone.
Well, this morning it happened again while she was pulling out of our garage. It seems like she started to move and then bam it stalled or all the warnings popped up and she could move. Same as before but this time she was actually driving off. Again I let it sit and it works after.
Is there some kind of anti-threat thing going on or what? I have an appointment scheduled at the Stearship but was hoping it's not anything major.

hydraulic assist to engage and disengage the gears. As the engine revolutions increase, the transmission recognizes the increasing speed and will change gears accordingly. If the hydraulic assist begins to fail, either because of low transmission (or hydraulic fluid) levels or problems with the gear change assist mechanism, you’ll notice the Camaro will “over rev” when accelerating or stall when slowing down. Adding fluid or repairing the hydraulic assist may fix the problem
