hello every one i just put a 1979 new 350 goodwrench motor in the car

no computer hook up to it i use a carp and manuel fuel pump and a vac dist

the car starts up fine as i drive down the road it will die out and not start

too it cools off i had to the timeing by ear i think the timeing marks are in

the wrong place i try to set it to 8 or 10 and the car will back fire but i dont

think the timeing is the proplem here the car starts right up when it hot i

think the fuel pump is bad when she act up there was a little fuel in the gas

filter and i see bubbles in the gas filter then when i turn the car off there

was no gas in the filter the pump has 3 lines the return line i block off with a

bolt any help will be nice i been trying to get this car to run right so i can


drive it
