89 Camaro 2.8 serious problems???
OK i have an 89 camaro that is seriously just messed up. There are tons of camaros around here with mostly the same problem.
OK my camaro was running like had no power and was missing really bad. had no power. It would stall out and wasnt running at all. We tried a tune up. cap, rotor, plugs, wires and still nothing. we checked the timing with a light and it was just jumping around while it was running.
It was still running very poorly an was hard to start, If we could even get it to start. I was driving with it and it jumped timing. So we changed the timing chain and gears, water pump changed, radiator, fuel filter.
IT was running better but not 100%. And starting a week ago it dosent want to start. It cranks over and every so often it sounds like it wants to start. It will putter a bit and almost stay running and just die.
I really need help and any suggestions would really help.

What timing are you running?
And did you follow the proper procedure to set base timing to begin with? You know there is a wire you need to disconnect to disable the computer from adjusting your timing? Without disconnecting it that is why timing was jumping all over the place.
Disconnect the timing wire. Its usually a single brown wire outside of the loom entirely with a single connector.
Then try setting base timing.
