my trans in my 94 z28 was acting funny the car reved way up in 1rst gear but would shift through the rest of the gears i pulled the trans pan and put a new filter in and trans pan gasket added some lucas stop slip in when i re filled it
the condition improved a bit as a last ditch effort to fix my shifting problem i changed the tps sensor started the car it was idling high and through a service engine light now the car is in second gear and won't shift out of it any one have any idea what my problem could be I'm sure the trans is beat but it was drive able now its not at all

I think the TPS has to be adjusted when replaced.
