Default Changing Speedo Cluster

Just got my '98 z28 back from a service and all is ok apart from that cluster! The dials don't work properly and because of that I have no accurate reading on the temp sensor.

The cluster that's in it at the moment is a aftermarket one and i've been told I need to put an original one in. Problem is, too expensive here in Dubai.

If, I ship one from the States (with matching model years) will I be ok to just swap the old with the new? or will it be difficult for any reason?

Thanks

should be straight forward, simple. pull old one out, new one in. as long as cluster is made for your car, all should be well.

That's what I thought, I just hope I don't have to reconfigure the ECU or the likes.
