Generally speaking, Maxxman is right.(but only about 100% of the time)
However, since you mention Corvette, that is a slightly different GM animule. They make a specific engine in the newer models to custom fit the slimmer, smaller body of a 'Vette. Rarer, costs more, but that's the price you pay when you "Wrap Your A$$ in Fibergla$$.", as the 'Vette fans are so fond of saying.
For the Camaro, I'd stick with the standard Chevy fare, to open up the availability and try to keep the costs down.

Thanks man. I think i found one to. I found it on a website that said they sell re-built engines and transmissions. www.gearheadengines.com . Do you guys know anything about it?
