Loud thunk when accellerating or slowing too fast.
Hi everyone,
I'm new here and looking for a solution/cause to two problems that I believe are coincidental and have nothing to do with the other.
#1. My key is getting stuck in the Ignition.
Sometimes it will not turn, and sometimes it will not come out. Very aggravating.
#2. When I accelerate too quickly or slow down too quickly, there is a loud thunk coming from what feels like right in the center of the car. Is my car falling apart?
If anyone can help I truely appreciate all replies.

I would inspect the U-joints and it might also be work while lubing the spline shaft of the drive shaft into the tranny... search the forum for "slip yoke"
