on my sons 1990 Camaro RS
I am working on my sons 1990 Camaro RS with a 6 cylinder motor. He purchased a lock cylinder for it because he could not get the key out of the old one and was starting to have problems getting it to start. After putting the new lock cylinder in the car still would not start. When you turn the key it does nothing as if the battery is not even hooked up. We then changed the silenoid and still we had nothing there. Next we changed the ignition switch and still nothing. We then took the starter in and had it tested and it tested good. We then thought maybe it was the neutral safety switch so we changed it and still nothing. When putting a test light on the silenoid, the big post lights up(of course that is the battery) but when I put it on the little post and turn the key tothe start position it will not light up, so does that mean that there is a break in the wiring somewhere or could it be something else?
