I am lookin to do a rear end swap on my 79 camaro z28. and ideas. i dont kno wat will fit or wat will work.

3.73 is a good gear on the 4 speed, the 3.42 is a good gear on the 3-spd.

 

well i have a 383 stroker on it.. sub frame connectors im lookin to do something more like a high street tranny it is a auto matic but i would like to convert it to a manual

 

3.73's is a good choice. i changed my 2.73 to a 3.73 and it really woke my car uo. i had a 700r4 tranny but it depends on what u have

 

I reckon it did wake it up! 2.73 is a super-high gear ratio. And I thought the stock 3.08 in mine was high...

 

ya thats wat i thought came stock was 3.08s the motor is a 383 stroker motor. i have a aftermarket turbo 350 tranny. with 2500 stall and mild shift kit. wat set of gears would be good for that. i would like to hook up.
