Pro Street Camaro On California Streets
My next door neighbor's general comment when he spots me outside:"Are you living the dream?" So................I decided to quite dreaming about it. When a teen, this boy had a very plan toy. Had a very fast flat bottom v-drive boat and street bikes past years but not any that had 4 wheels. Now since I'm 65+old I want to go bold. I've come across a couple 71 Camaro Pro Streets outside my area of Sacramento that look completely stock on the outside. With the narrowed rear-end hiding the monster tires & big Cubic Inches exhaling thru very unrestricted mufflers, how accepting will the police & Highway Patrol be?I know these cars are around my area, so is there any advice other than common sense to drive around occasionally, to stay off their radar.
Thank you
Thank you

Well, from the lack of response to my post it appears that I answered my question in my post:common sense. It has worked very well for me up to now and it should work with this toy.

Off My Bucket List
Took the plunge and having a Pro Street 70 Chev Camaro built. Found a almost complete rolling car at a racing engine builder who was revamping it as a test rig for his engine developments. He suddenly was given the opportunity to purchase a car that he has been after for 5 years and did not need 2 for the purpose. As this is a very busy time for his product and an avid drag racer, if I could wait until October 1st for the finished car, he would cut me a hell of a good deal. He did.

Will Not Have The Car This Month But The Build Is Alive
As the old saying goes: "Excuses are just like *** holes-everyone has one".
I now have a completion date for April. The seller is very confident that this will give the essential time to honor his "Fallen" date. I tried for Christmas but Santa could not step-up.
What??????????????????????? I know some will be thinking after all this time!
For what the completed car is being purchased for would make even the the most impatient buyer stick around. The car is still in tack as the first time that it was looked at and stored inside.
Anyway, the time coaxed me to jump from a 496 to a 540 and added a few other upgrades.
I'm still stoked. April will be my birthday and will be a bang for 68.
